School Information

With reference to the history of Hong Kong Covenant Church, it is suitable and applicable to operate kindergartens and churches in the new town of Tseung Kwan O. Since 1965, members of Covenant Church and Junk Bay Medical Relief Council cooperated and started gospel work in the villages of Tseung Kwan O and Clear Water Bay, aiming to spread the gospel throughout the whole region.

In 1983, with notice to the establishment of the Po Lam Estate by the government, we applied to the Social Welfare Department for the right to open Kindergarten services provided by voluntary agencies.

The school established in 1988 and the kindergarten service began in September as a full-time and part-time kindergarten and nursery mainly operated by Christian Covenant Church. With memory to our beloved Sister Annie Skau Berntsen, the kindergarten is named as “Mission Covenant Church Sister Annie’s Kindergarten”, as she moved from Norway to China and served in Tien Keng Leng, Tseung Kwan O and Clear Water Bay for 40 years, with financial support to the kindergarten by donating the income of her autobiography sold in Norway as the start-up funding. This is a kindergarten that takes care of children and educates children. In the spirit of Jesus Christ’s love of children, it provides a place for children to learn and care.

The Christian Covenant Church has been educating since 1969 and has a wealth of experience in running schools. In addition to kindergartens and kindergartens, there are also The Mission Covenant Church Holm Glad Primary School and The Mission Covenant Church Holm Glad College.
