Objective:

With the concept of integrated education, the programme provides training and care to children with mild developmental disabilities with a view of facilitating their future integration into the mainstream education as well as in the society.

Service Contents:

Special Child Care Workers customise individual education plan for the students to achieve their best potential. 

Services include speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and clinical psychological counselling services.

Parents can join the speech therapy and know that how to enhance the ability of children.

Eligibility:

Children aged between 2 to 6 with mild developmental disability.

Quota:

12 children in 2 groups

Application:

Referrals can be made by social workers or staff of rehabilitation service units to the Central Referral System for Rehabilitation Services of the Social Welfare Department.
